CHS Student Council was recognized as having outstanding programs in:
- Pride and Patriotism
- Energy and Environment
- Drugs, Alcohol, Safety, and Health
- Community Service
Due to earning outstanding in all four of these programs we were recognized as having an Outstanding Student Council.
Then, due to going above and beyond, the CHS Student Council earned Sweepstakes!
We are very proud of our students in leadership roles. We can't wait to watch them soar into their future!

Senior Spotlight

Our One Act Play Company will be performing their Bi-District qualifying play on Monday April 21st.
Throughout this competition season they have received several awards.
Please come out and support our students and the hard work that they have put in this year.
The contents of the play contains themes from the Holocaust and might not be appropriate for some children.
The school performance will be for High School Students only and will start at 3:00 p.m.
The Community Performance will start at 7:00 p.m.

3rd Grade has Baby chicks!! Everyone is so excited!!

1st Grade is working on Story Elements. They loved creating a felt scene citing all parts of a great story - characters, setting, and plot. After putting their scene together, they created a story element graphic organizer pulling it all together. They then shared their story with the class.

While lower grade levels were STAAR testing, our Juniors and Seniors had a Bulldog Skills for Life Day.
Some skills they learned:
- How to check the oil and change a tire on a vehicle
- Job interview skills
- Hands on CPR
- RSSI presented job resume skills
- LIT shared educational pathways and course options
