Today in Forensic Science we are studying Biological Samples. Students were asked to build their own DNA out of materials of their choice. Some chose candy and others chose pool noodles. "I am so very proud of my students and their creativity."- Mrs. Barrett

Congratulations to our Jr High Boys' Track Team that won 1st overall at the Huntington Meet yesterday. Our 7th and 8th graders competed as 1 team and walked away as Champions!
Our Girls' team won the Mile Relay!

Welding is a big part of Ag at CHS. These students are welding a safe for competition.


CHS Forensic Science class just finished a Serology and Blood unit. For the conclusion of this unit, they made DIY blood and each student created their own blood splatter piece. Students learned about the shape of the blood splatter indicating the direction of travel and location that the blood originated from before hitting a surface. They learned about the distribution of blood pattern, location of the source of blood and blood pattern, and chemically enhancing latent blood patterns using reagents. All students also know the four blood types and which blood type can be donated and received by each blood type. They had a lot of gory fun...







TOMORROW!


Kindergarten also had a fun 100th day of school. They celebrated being 100 days smarter! They filled their day with many One Hundred themed activities as well as an ice cream party!
