CHS would like to recognize and congratulate two of our seniors, Jared Lehman and Camryn Best. They both received the Voice of Democracy Scholarship presented by the Woodville VFW Post. Jared and Camryn submitted an application and an essay they wrote in their Dual Credit English 1301 College Class. They placed 1st and 2nd out of nearly 40 applicants in Tyler County Schools.

The sophomores traveled to Lufkin to attend the 2026 RSSI Youth Financial Literacy Workshop. Lots of fun and learning about money management took place. Levi Bendy, Cooper Lewis, and Logan Fasske hit the jackpot on door prizes taking home two Kindle Fires and a set of Apple AirPods.

The 1st round of Dogwood judging was last Thursday, January 29th. Our very own Josey Eddins advanced to the 2nd round of interviews that will be held tonight. Good luck, Josey, & thank you for representing Colmesneil ISD!

HS Basketball game update...

Letters are going home today for students who need to attend.

The HS Student Council hosted and ran their second blood drive for the 2025-2026 school year. Students, staff, and teachers helped donate 29 units of blood!!! Thank you to all who were able to donate and who tried to donate. Thank you to Gulf Coast Blood for coming to the school and making our donations possible. Thank you to the HS Student Council officers for helping make the blood drive so smoothly.

HS Student Council upcycled plastic bottle caps by having a “create a magnet” activity in the foyer Wednesday morning and Thursday morning this week. They had fun helping students and staff create fun and unique magnets. This is just a fun way the HS Student Council is trying to encourage our students and staff to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.

Stay tuned for further updates.

Note time changes on tomorrow's games.

Surprise your child or your child's teacher(s) with a Valentine Carnation from the 8th grade Student Council! These make great friend gifts too!

It's GAME DAY for our High School Bulldogs!
