CHS Forensic Science class just finished a Serology and Blood unit. For the conclusion of this unit, they made DIY blood and each student created their own blood splatter piece. Students learned about the shape of the blood splatter indicating the direction of travel and location that the blood originated from before hitting a surface. They learned about the distribution of blood pattern, location of the source of blood and blood pattern, and chemically enhancing latent blood patterns using reagents. All students also know the four blood types and which blood type can be donated and received by each blood type. They had a lot of gory fun...

Yesterday, our Dogwood Princess, Lillian Jalomo, along with all of the other Tyler County Princesses were honored guests of the Rotary Club of Woodville. After lunch, all local royalty were invited to The Orchard to visit with the residents. Colmesneil was well represented!
