COLMESNEIL, Texas — Colmesneil ISD is getting ready to celebrate Homecoming 2026 with a week full of Bulldog spirit, school pride, tradition, and fun as the district presents “HOCOFEST 2026!”

The festivities will officially kick off with the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, September 12, giving students the perfect opportunity to begin the celebration in style.

On Sunday, September 13, Colmesneil will welcome Bulldog alumni back home for Alumni Fest at the Colmesneil Community Center from 2–5 p.m. Alumni and community members are invited to gather, reconnect, and reminisce about their days as Colmesneil Bulldogs. Food trucks and other booths will be set up throughout the event, creating a fun afternoon for former students, families, and the community.

As part of this year's celebration of Bulldog history and tradition, Colmesneil will also recognize and celebrate the members of the 1986 Baseball State Championship team. The championship team holds a special place in Colmesneil's athletic history, and Homecoming provides the perfect opportunity to honor the players and coaches who helped bring a state championship home to the Bulldogs 40 years ago. The Class of 1976 will be recognized for their 50th year anniversary as a CHS Alumni.  Alumni Fest will be a time to celebrate not only the Class of 1976 and 1986 and the championship team, but all of the alumni and generations of Bulldogs who have helped shape the Colmesneil community.

Following Alumni Fest, the Homecoming Parade will begin at 5 p.m. The parade will bring the community together as Bulldog fans line the streets to celebrate Homecoming and show their support for Colmesneil ISD.

The following week will be packed with dress-up days, pep rallies, a bonfire, and plenty of Bulldog spirit as students, staff, alumni, and community members build excitement for the biggest event of the week—the Homecoming football game against the Ore City Rebels on Friday, September 18, at 7 p.m.

Before kickoff, Colmesneil will celebrate one of its most treasured Homecoming traditions with the 2026 Homecoming Coronation beginning at 6:15 p.m. One of four senior princesses will be crowned the 2026 Colmesneil Homecoming Queen.
