Pathways

Families, do you have a student age 14 or older who currently receives special education services and has an IEP? If so, we want to share an exciting opportunity available through the Pathways to Success Grant for eligible students in our Polk County Special Services Cooperative districts.

This program is designed to help students prepare for life after high school by:

  • Identifying and enrolling in postsecondary programs (vocational, 2-year, or 4-year programs across Texas)

  • Exploring funding options such as FAFSA, scholarships, and TWC-VR services

  • Receiving ongoing wraparound support in their first year of college or training after graduation

  • Preparing for future career and employment opportunities

Eligibility:

  • Current 12th grade students in rural school districts (NCES 32+)

  • Receiving special education services with an active IEP

  • Interested in pursuing education or training after graduation
